then move your phone to the object as near as you can . If phone beeps it means their is hidden camera or hidden voice recoder/speaker .

Detect Infrared Camera option  - the app also have an option which detects infrared lights .

Detect IR cam with white light 

Just open the infrared detector and scan for white light that appear on screen but not visible by naked eye. Such white light is infrared light . It could be  an infrared camera 

 This app is not programmed to detect metals. Metals have electromagnetism but very weak . App is programmed to  ignore it.

But sometimes, few type of metals on the basis of their material, length, temperature may have same magnetic activity similar to camera. In that situation app may beep. If so always look for lens on the suspect if app beeps.

Check if there is any lens on the suspect. If not, then you are secure. if you find lens like object, then there should be hidden camera.
